Chocolate Mousse with Berries Puree

Ready in 15 minutes and so delicious. It’s creamy&rich and refreshing at the same time.

A great dessert for days like these, when we should track how much sugar we intake more than usual – as we don’t move too much during this lockdown. As always use what you have, if you don’t have berries, use other fruit, if you’re vegan, substitute with vegan milk/yogurt.

Chill or not depending on how much you crave this sweet (and healthy) treat.

INGREDIENTS

200ml Milk or Heavy Cream (or half&half)

25g Dark Chocolate (approx. one row of the Chocolate Bar)

1 Teaspoon Corn Starch

A Handful of Berries (fresh or frozen)

3-4 Tablespoons of Yogurt

1 Teaspoon Honey

Coconut Flour/Mint for decoration

METHOD

  1. Pour milk into a saucepan and heat it. Once warm, drop a few pieces of chocolate and let them melt while stirring. In a separate cup, properly dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of milk. Pour it into warm chocolate milk and mix until thick. Pour this chocolate mousse into a glass cup.
  2. Place frozen berries with a couple spoons of white yogurt and honey into the blender and blend until smooth. Pour it over chocolate mousse and decorate with coconut flour/ mint or just eat right away.

Bon Appetit,
Lenka
